You know that your entire favourite and worldwide successful artists have stunning sound/mastering, all commercial records are mastered in professional mastering studios. Perfect sound makes first impression and this is most important in modern music. You can make perfect sound only with combination of best analog equipment and digital tools, long term experiences, accurate monitoring and acoustically treated studio. This is simple fact.
- Transparent yet loud and professional sound, dynamics and overall balance
You can create "pseudo-mastering" with software plug-ins but sound will be probably distorted and squashed like hell with volume levels same like your favourite official released records. At best scenario with home pseudo-mastering transients, drums and hi-hats will be harsh and unpleasant to ears, sound will be digitally flat and sharp, sub bass will be squared not nice round and fat. This happens because home mastering works only with digital numbers and gain reduction/compression is done only with virtual digits. Gain reduction / making good dynamics is one of most important part of mastering.
Analog mastering works with real signal, not numbers.
We are using many special techniques how to achieve loud and dynamic sound without distortion, sharp digital squashed sound and ear-killing transients and harsh trebles. We can make gain reduction with various tools at many stages of mastering like: transparent analog compression, vacuum tube saturation, analog limiting, clipping of hi-end AD converters (much better sounding than digital limiters, technique used on all today\'s commercial albums) and finally transparent digital limiters. If gain reduction is done with various analog and digital methods you can get loud, yet transparent, dynamic and pleasant sound.

Vacuum tubes and other electronic components are producing 1st, 2nd, 3rd etc. harmonics as well as saturation/rounding peaks which makes sound so called warmer, fatter, richer (bass is round and fat, middles are intensive but pleasant, trebles are nice and silky - all without significant boosting of equalizer). There are many software emulations, but instead of real analog coloring they simply produce distortion and ugly digital artifacts/aliasing.
Same with cheap hardware equipment.

Experiences in music production, mixing and sound design as well as knowledge of special mastering techniques and tricks is most important if you want to get good sound. Our mastering engineer has more than 10 years experiences with producing music and mixing, playing in bands and as DJ, organizing music events, 4 years of experiences with work in other mastering studio (A.D.) and was leading DSP programmer in G-Sonique so he knows also technical background and secrets of digital audio processing.

Basic nearfield monitors are perfect for mixing, but has flat / plastic sound without color and character, yet not enough details of sound. That is why all mastering studios use expensive hi-end audiophile speakers combining quality and linearity of monitors, with extremely detailed sound but with character and fullness of hifi sound. To be sure your track sound good on every speakers, we have next pairs of hi to low-end reference speakers in 2nd room. This, together with experiences allows mastering engineer to make accurate/precise sound that will sound good everywhere / on every sound system small or big concert PA.
- Fine-tuned balance of frequencies in acoustically treated studio with accurate monitoring
It is good known fact that bad room acoustic can change amount of frequencies that you hear, often bass is multiplied, other frequencies are reflected from walls or otherwise very absorbed if you have too many diffusers in mix studio. One frequency can affect others like heavy subbas can make mid-trebles virtually softer and more pleasant, but opposite missing of bass can make your record flat and sharp sounding. Bad acoustic can affect individual frequencies by +/- 6dB or more! Only if you have professionally calculated and measured studio
